A striking tonal blender from Jason Yenter’s Autumn Celebration collection for In The Beginning Fabrics. Tossed maple leaf silhouettes in deep burgundy and dark maroon are scattered randomly at varying sizes across a richly mottled ground of burnt amber, olive gold, and deep rust. The leaves are clearly maple-shaped with distinct lobes, rendered as solid silhouettes rather than detailed botanical illustrations. The ground has a painterly, cloudy watercolor quality with warm dark-to-light shifts. Medium-contrast — the dark maroon leaves pop distinctly from the warm amber ground but still read as a cohesive, warm tonal from a distance.
