Woodland Friends is a bright, joyful handmade baby quilt bursting with forest adventure. The design alternates rows of pieced churn dash blocks — peach/blush centers framed by lime green half-square triangle points on a peach linen background, with scrappy woodland print corner squares featuring foxes, deer, bears, and rabbits — with rows of whimsical woodland novelty border stripe prints showing animals and rainbows, separated by narrow lime green polka dot sashing. A sky blue mushroom and toadstool print borders the top and bottom, and the binding matches. The backing is a cheerful golden yellow scattered with woodland autumn motifs — hedgehogs, acorns, foxes, and leaves. Straight-line quilting follows the rows throughout.
