Press borders, sashing, and long strips on the extra-large Wool Pressing Mat by The Gypsy Quilter. Felted wool absorbs and reflects heat to press seams from both sides while gently gripping fabric to reduce shifting and distortion.

Use & Care

  • Use a dry iron
  • Press embroidery from the wrong side
  • Allow the mat to air-dry if damp
  • Rinse occasionally in cold water
  • Avoid placing on rotary cutting mats, as heat causes warping
  • Use a protective barrier on wood or painted surfaces

The generous length provides a pressing surface for quilt borders and strip-pieced projects with less repositioning.
