Press borders, sashing, and long strips with ease using the Gypsy Quilter Wool Pressing Mat — an extra-large 21-5/8" x 58-5/8" pressing surface made from 100% felted wool. The wool absorbs and reflects heat back into your fabric, pressing seams flat from both sides at once while gently gripping fabric to reduce shifting and distortion. Perfect for quilting, appliqué, embroidery, and any project with long seams or large pieces.

Its generous length makes it the ideal companion for full-size quilt borders and strip-pieced projects — press an entire border strip without repositioning. A standout addition to any serious quilting workspace.

Tips: Use a dry iron. Press embroidery from the wrong side. Allow to air-dry if damp. Rinse occasionally in cold water. Avoid placing on rotary cutting mats — heat causes warping. Use a protective barrier on wood or painted surfaces.
