The Tightrope Quilt Pattern by Robin Pickens uses 2.5" Jelly Roll strips or a Layer Cake to create a lineup of whimsical rectangles that appear to stretch their arms for balance—giving this quilt its lively, modern feel. This confident-beginner pattern includes instructions for two sizes:
